I wonder what the start in Cybertruck sales will do to depreciation costs.

Tesla depreciates its equipment and tooling on a per-unit basis, so if they sell 3,000/month for the meantime (due to battery cell constraints), it won't hit earnings much at all. The negative gross margins is what will dampen overall profitability.

Can you think of any reason why CyberTruck payload capacity would exceed that of its rivals?

Anyone who puts the full 2500 lbs into the bed of this truck is likely in for a long day.

All the specs that Tesla publishes should be taken with a grain of salt. The stated range of all of their models is highly exaggerated (many lawsuits against them for that). I wouldn't be surprised if their payload capacity is also overstated.

Another hit piece. I do wonder about if the range they give was fully loaded most of the time I won't be fully loaded so probably I'll get more than the average. Do you know if it would be possible to fill the frunk with helium to increase the range?

I'm surprised they didnt just say 500 mile range anyways. It must be really really far off. I wonder if this really is the range and they're being more careful due to pending investigations.

Both the range and price of the Cybertruck are still listed as "estimates" on Tesla's website. The range still being an estimate shows that the Cybertruck may not have received EPA approval yet.
