Tesla Q2 Deliveries 4% Above Consensus; Stock up 6% in the Premarket
This only happens with Tesla; Most carmakers' stocks move on earnings
Tesla’s Q2 deliveries came to 466,107 units, which was 4% higher than the 446,823 consensus that Tesla’s IR division emailed out last Thursday. Deliveries were up 38% YoY and 10% QoQ.
Production during Q2 was 479,700 units and outstripped deliveries for the fifth quarter in a row, albeit at a smaller pace than Q1 and grew by 86% YoY and 9% QoQ.
